Performance Series

The Performance 1 (P-1) is our introductory power cord for all who want to improve on the stock power cord supplied by manufactures with new equipment.  The reason why manufactures don't include a decent power cord as stock equipment is due to the price.  Can you imagine what an extra $50 in cost would do to the retail price of most equipment?  Make it un-affordable.  Mr-Cable has made this task affordable and available to all.  The P-1 uses wire that was designed by one of the worlds largest cable companies consisting of 3 (14) gauge wires and has a floating shield at the IEC.  The P-1 is assembled with the Marinco male power plug and the Marinco female IEC.  The cord is covered in a mesh for protection and cosmetics.  This cord is a huge improvement over your standard stock power cord.  Prices start at just $45.  Return to top.

The Performance 2 (P-2) is the next step up from the Performance 1.  The P-2 doesn't cost drastically more than the P-1 (just $79), but you will be amazed at the improvements for the small investment.  Most who have tried both do the upgrade right away.  The P-2 will provide most of your components the power and "the magic that this power cable does" that is needed on all components except high end power amps.  IE: works perfect on all pre-amps, CD players, DAC's, Transports, and all other equipment (including amps) that don't require a demand for high voltage. Don't let the price fool you.  You can pay many times as much and not get the sound and quality that you get with the P-2.  The P-2 is hand crafted using multiple 16 gauge wires, a hospital grade Marinco male power plug and a Wattgate 320 IEC plug, the purple cord is then covered with a black mesh for cosmetics and protection.   Return to top.

The Performance 3 (P-3) is the most advanced power cord in the Performance Series.  It was designed using super high purity copper 5 wire configuration (equivalent to 14 gauge) and uses a shield that is floated at the IEC connector.  The P-3 has a bit more clarity and transparency then the P-2.  It is revealing.  The sounds great on CD players, DAC's, Transports, Pre-amps, Power Amps, Tape Decks, Tuners and DVD players.  As with the P-2, the P-3 is best suited to be used with equipment not requiring high current (huge amps).  Return to top. 

PURE SERIES

The Pure Music 10 is a pure silver 10 gauge power cord.  It is the same construction as the Pure Music, but it uses 10 gauge silver instead of the 12 gauge silver.  All three wires are 99.999+% 10 guage pure silver.  Each cord is hand constructed and use the best plugs available, the WATTGATE 330 & 350 gold treated plugs.  The sound,  take all the characteristics of the Pure Music, but multiply them for a better (most likely the best) sound possible.
