TGE's cost effective, high performance anti-vibration solutions have been satisfying the critical needs of demanding users since 1994. A variety of technologies have benefited from the robust and compact design of TGE's products-a list that includes applications ranging from sensitive semiconductor instrumentation to the wind damping of massive bridge structures. A studied engineering approach, involving structural physics and extensive vibration analysis, has yielded numerous patents and patents pending. Much of TGE's success can be attributed to it's unique horizontal isolation mechanism which offers improved capabilities when compared to costly and more cumbersome anti-table designs. The accompanying photograph provides a chronological survey of several TGE's innovations.

Aurios Isolation Bearings:

The Aurios Inc's family of Isolation Bearings, produced in 2000, also feature the unique materials and horizontal isolator found in the VIL and VIB designs. The condensed construction of the Aurios Media Isolation Bearing (MIB) offers state-of-the-art isolation for frequencies below 1 Hz, for loads from below 1 pound to 300 pounds per bearing, at a cost of $100 per bearing. Aurios Inc's MIB has been initially targeted at the consumer audio/video entertainment electronics industry, where it has already proven effective in clarifying both sound and video content for the discerning "mediaphile".  Intended for audio use only.

About - Aurios:

TGE (parent company to Vistek Inc., Aurios Inc., Dynamic Assets Inc.) has developed breakthrough technology in the field of vibration and motion control. This technology yields tremendous benefits for industrial engineers designing and operating high-powered microscopes, metrology tools and precision manufacturing/process control machinery. Civil engineering structures such as buildings and bridges created to comply with the world's moist stringent seismic and wind load standards also incorporate TGE devices. Recently TGE's innovative vibration isolation bearing concept, patented in 1997, has found unique expression in the enhancement of state-of-the-art audio/visual playback systems.

TGE, through its subsidiaries, designs and manufactures products for the following applications:

Micro vibration isolation and control for precision equipment including light microscopes, confocal microscopes, atomic force microscopes, scanning and transmission electron microscopes, chemical-mechanical polishing tools, photo-lithography tools, epitaxial reactors, nuclear magnetic resonance magnets, CNC lathes, lab balances, and metrology instruments of all sorts.

Set Up Tip: Anyone who fiddles with the Aurios will soon find that the hardest part of using them is trying to level your component accurately and easily. Using matchbook covers, napkins, coins, folded paper, coasters etc. is awkward and ugly. An elegant solution may be purchased at Pro Photo Supply and sells under the brand name "Wobble Wedges". Wobblw Wedges are little injection molded plastic wedges tapering from a sixteenth to a quarter of an inch. Put them where you need them; They are ridged so one can be stacked on top of another. Still life photographers use them to prop up and level stuff for the camera. A bag of twenty (10 black and 10 clear) will set you back $6.00.
